Inner Courtyard
In this shot you can begin to see how the addition of the third storey Long Gallery sits on the building beneath it. The pressure exerted on the lower floor by the weight of the long gallery and it's heavy stone slate roof tile has caused much of the wooden floor to distort. It feels like walking on board ship in a high sea.
